The canoe is the greatest
gift from Aboriginal cultures to all those who
came after. People flock to Ontario's lakes and
rivers to escape the summer heat of the cities.
Like the beaver and the maple leaf, the canoe
has become an icon for Canada, universally
recognized and loved.
With over half a million lakes and rivers, and thousands of kilometres
of coastline, it is fitting that Ontario means ‘Shimmering
Waters’.
Join us for a journey down our lake and river systems for miles
upon miles and explore the wild backcountry regions of Ontario. Discover
nature at its finest and see abundant wildlife along the way.
All aspects of canoe tripping will be experienced from paddling
loaded canoes, carrying packs and canoes across portages, preparing
meals on the trail and setting up camp.
