Our food is unique, delicious and nutritious. Breakfasts
consist of pancakes, cereals, fresh eggs,
muffins, fruit, coffee, tea, juice. Lunch
is often enjoyed in different settings depending
on where our exploration takes us. It
might be in the comfort of our camp, a
shore lunch on one of the many islands we visit,
on a sandy beach, a wooded trail or portage. Wherever
the location, being outdoors creates a beautiful
backdrop to enjoy fresh vegetables, cheese and meats, on fresh bagels or pita, soup, or good old
peanut butter and jam followed by granola bars,
cookies or dried fruit. Dinner
is a relaxed and social affair. As the
day ends, it’s a wonderful time to sit
back and enjoy our natural surroundings, to converse
and laugh about the day’s adventures, marvel
at the stunning views and anticipate a beautiful
sunset. Main courses may be pasta, chicken stir-fry with rice,
ham and scallop potatoes, stews, burritos, Shepherd’s
Pie and finished off with a tasty desert and
a hot drink.
